Muncaster Luck

Twas beaut day, so whilst everyone else was titting about in Edale I went exploring. A great route, lots of rough ground, not much climb tbh (its a BM, but what a BM), 2 river crossings and an uphill finish to a castle. Plus they fed the herons at the finish (20 odd).

Lost a minute or so at the first river crossing by not seeing the flags, and a barrel load of time (10 minutes!!) at the last cp by getting the wrong side of a wall and not knowing what to do. The most undeserved win ever.

Lungs were working a bit today, without ever really going anywhere ina hurry.

Spent the day at a site in Eskdale lighting bonfires. 50 of them. I inhaled rather a lot of smoke whilst having a grand time.

Blasted up Latrigg with Ted, probably shouldn't have done this after all the smoke

Tired but Rachel offered a pottle round Sale fell so I obliged. A day wrestling fence posts is tiring.
