Biking 22:45 [3] 6.7 km (3:24 / km)

Just biking around the cemetery again, got a bit bored so didn't go for too long. Tried running easy for about 200 m afterward but it was still pretty painful.

Biking 1:45:00 [3] 12.0 km (8:45 / km)

Biking around the cemetery putting out and collecting controls. While waiting in between I repeatedly cycled up and down the hill in a higher gear than usual to make it more tiring. Distance is an estimate based on how far I went yesterday.

Biking 24:58 [4] 6.79 km (3:41 / km)

First proper exercise since I injured my ankle which still hurts. Biking doesn't hurt though aside from when it gets jolted from bumps. I intentionally went up extra hills and in a higher gear than usual to make it more tiring.

Orienteering 13:22 [3] 2.34 km (5:43 / km)
shoes: Inov8 F-lite

Sprint orienteering at Massey, felt fine.

Orienteering 27:59 [3] 4.23 km (6:37 / km)
shoes: Inov8 F-lite

Sprint orienteering at Massey. My ankle started to get more sore than the usual slight irritation that it has previously. After getting home I can barely walk on it.

Orienteering 2:14:03 [4] 11.89 km (11:16 / km)

Winter Classic event around Colonial knob. Had a bit of a shocker overall with some poor navigation and bad route choices, so a little disappointed. First 20 minutes were up a big hill, sore lower calves came back and ankle was sore too but didn't matter too much because I were walking up a steep track with Magnus and John. Then spent about the next hour in some fairly dense bush during which I made maybe 6 notable navigation mistakes, including getting stuck in a valley of vines, and didn't get much of a chance to run properly due to vegetation. for the rest of the course my navigation was fine, although I still made some poor route choices. Then with maybe 4 km to go I slipped sideways when the pine needles slide down the hill I was going along, and fell directly on a jutting out rock/root with my thigh. This gave me a dead leg for about 5 minutes and made it really painful to run much more than a jog. This was pretty annoying because I didn't feel lacking in energy and probably could have caught up to Magnus who was only 3 minutes ahead by the end.

Running 19:20 [3] 5.0 km (3:52 / km)
shoes: Inov8 F-lite

Porirua parkrun. First km was pretty good (about 3:40), felt fairly bad for the rest of it though and was a bit surprised my time was only 19:20 and not longer.
