Orienteering race (Peter Palmers) 40:00 [3] 4.3 km (9:18 / km) +60m 8:42 / km

Waiting or Hannah to come in, I was on 3rd leg. Took it steady to control 1 and 2 and then started speeding up. 3 was fine, 4 is just went a tiny bit more along and 5 I look to easy route and went around the green and then left into the control,6 was very good 7 was good and after that it went fine.
I made a silly error at 2 and didn't go to far round ad 4 when I went to the wrong like clearing thing. But apart from that good race

Felt very fit running that course,and t never felt like 4.3km I think it's because it's was very fast and you had to mee you self in touch with the map at all times other wise you could of easily got the wrong path and made a big error

But really enjoy it and looking forward to next year

Such a hard set a lot tonight! Mainly concentrated on breathing and working at a hard fast speak with not a lot of rest.

Running (Out with Lucy ) 1:00:00 [2] 6.0 km (10:00 / km)

Went for a slow run with my best friend Lucy from the centre of ulverston to sea wood by birkrigg and back. Slow jog and had a rest a sea wood and ran back as it started spitting

Orienteering race (UVHS school Club Champs) 41:00 [2] 3.7 km (11:05 / km)

Well didn't really set myself a plan at start, but I got myself into the zone 20seconds before starting the race! Knowing I was one of the lasts one off my aim was to run at the best and try and navigate and run fast at the same time. As it was on Birkrigg Common I didn't really use any compass bearings as I knew the area and I made sure my map was orientated at all times.
Got all the controls just about perfect part 1 (control3) as I was running down I ran to far and like hit the wall, ran back up then ran back down saw the fenced area on my right and the control was just about opposite that. After that all my controls where fine and then control 13 I got confused in all the gorse and ran abit to far up but soon realised I needed to stay in that gap and ran back.
Over all, I feel asthough my course went really well apart from the 2comtrols I was abit off it went all good for me
