Felt a lot better all my mistakes were at the start but I’m starting to feel faster definitely took my time today had a solid route out of every control and followed very well was slower than I wanted to be but happy with a much cleaner race will try to be slow until I have my route but then push it more on Thursday used my compass a lot more today that also helped no silly beginner mistakes today

Was thinking oh I’m going to have a good cleanish race and get distroyed but instead I had a very messy race and also got destroyed should not of ran the relay yesterday as got out there with some already very tired muscles still adjusting to the terrain causing many small mistakes and getting distracted by everything going on caused some big ones too need to work on checking my compass more this could of saved me 15min at least today especaly in unused to terrain it accurate unlike my visualisation proof I need to spend more time orienteering here

First course in Sweden o-rigen practice event had some trobble adjusting as everything is so different and spent too much time looking around at the senery instead of following my compass leading to a 10min mistake but after that got back on track took it easy as I have another race today this is going to be a good week

Fun really idk why they gave us bib #1 it made us look a lot better than we were good race but took it slow as my hip wasent 100% almost no mistakes good course lots of fun for everyone on team Ottawa
