Easy upand down the East River. Cracker of a day.
Saw Eddie Redmaine in Soho.....the lad must've had polio as a kid. Legs like a sparrow's and if Sesame St. sponsored them they'd have been brought to you today by the letters U and V. Painful to look at.
Note
(sick)
NYC gastric vibe all day.

Yasso's at 3:06.
Wanted sub 3's, but heat, humidity and breakfast sitting badly meant I didn't work hard enough. (Just being cautious, because there's no room for a pitstop error in NYC!!) Happy with these figures.
With Kendal at East River Park.....which still isn't completed. I probably won't get to see it done.
Running warm up/down 8:27 [1] 1.51 km (5:37 / km)

Note
John Oliver....Funny...yep. Relevant....very much so.
But let's be honest....that short arse got bullied at school and probably couldn't catch a cold. He's probably shit at all sports except Pick Up Dogshit bags. (His kinda sport).
I'm just posting what everyone's thinking.

Greg invited me and Kendal to train at Hickory Run. We took him up on the offer and everything about it was great. The journey getting there (ferry/car) and the map.
Greg and Danny (not the real one) debriefed us on what to expect. I took 1-3 then Kendal took 4-6. At 8 we split. Joined at 11 and split again for the run in. Kendal had a few struggles and I managed the regular 10-15min mistake at 2. (After being warned by Danny before we left).
Very vague contours. Low visibility, led to lots of compass and defining what used to be/still is marsh/pond. That was the only credible vegetation. Extremely slow going. Learnt a ton, as did Kendal.
Really nice to have streamers out. Thanks Greg, much appreciated. Great day out for the two of us.

Easy blast next to I70 before travel day to NYC. Not the prettiest, but sunrise was canny as were the temps. With Kendal.

LSD with Kendal. Very Easy shuffle in one of the weirder places I've got running. Rifle Falls State Park and Fish Hatchery. Nice place with a Soviet vibe to it. Lots of people sweating in black oversized T-shirts and black baggy jeans. Odd. Everyone seemed to have a different variation of the same fashion mistake.
NB. Got beat by the family at Ten Pen Bowling....not happy.
