Slow going as I was tired, it was quite hot and my ankles are a bit sensitive after yesterday, died a bit in the last 20 minutes but another good week ticked off. Had 500ml water during the run.

Bradwell English Champs - 6th

Runnable underfoot but quite a few steep climbs and was pretty hot. Set off fairly hard and just trying to keep running the ups, descending fast on the first one then got a bit stuck on the 2nd descent, but by the 3rd climb I was really struggling and got dropped pretty bad but surprisingly also dropped those behind.
Flat running on the top was grim then descended pretty hard and had an almighty struggle up the last wall but was comfortably in 6th with big gaps so just cruised it in as my legs were pretty wrecked.

I forgot how bloody painful fell running is on the muscles but it was great fun to do some head to head racing. Awesome to see MElkington finally win a champs race too and Dark Peak with the team prize with Nathan in 4th and some good packing in the top 20.

One day I will hopefully better my English Champs best from Fairfield in 2013. Going to be at least a 10 year wait though it seems.

Beer in the sun afterwards with everyone, the offseason racing has it's perks.
