Another easy hour. Legs felt surprisingly good after last night’s exertions, apart from some upper hammy/lower back nerve pain - probably as much to do with fence painting as bike riding.

Cruisey afternoon jog. Lateral right heel sore for 500m shortly after starting and intermittently annoying throughout the run. Achilles sore to touch afterwards, but not as bad as Monday.
Have been doing calf raises and stretching daily since Monday. Will start adding weight next week. Undecided about whether to continue on the edge of a step or to just do raises from flat ground, which have irritated my achilles less in the past.

Mostly a C grade pace partner ride until a stupid autoupdate hid the Zwift window until I got off the bike to reach my laptop, so last 10 minutes solo.

Trying out the new trail shoes. Definitely kinder to the feet on rocky trails than my X-talons. Left achilles is sore - really need to actually do something about it, rather than just thinking about it.
