Hot afternoon ride by myself on Kettle Valley Railway route from Summerland down to Penticton. First part of trail quite fun. After crossing big bridge, trail became rough and loose. It was okay going downhill, but seem a shame that it wasn't better. Finished at a brewco, met Georgi and Finn and had a swim in Okangan Lake.

Day 7 of Kettle Valley Railway: Chute Lake to Penticton.

All downhill day! Morning the trail was loose and rough, which is a shame. But eventually got to bike-maintained section overlooking Okangan Lake. Amazing views, so fast. Interesting to go down through so many different ecozones. Had beers at trail-side brewco just after lunch. Nice final ride through town to the old train station, then back up on awesome cycle track to meet Ken at the lake.

Day 6 of Kettle Valley Railway: Hydraulic Lake to Chute Lake

Myra Canyon day. My butt was sore in morning, but better once I put padded shorts back on. Myra Canyon was amazing - funny to see so many people after all these days! After lunch last part of route to Chute lake was rough, dusty, hot and too many ATVs making it dusty and noisy. Not so nice. But great views over Kelowna!
