Note

Was annoyed at myself for missing entry for the O event today, but ended up being glad of having no plans as the boys have been sick the last few days which is the most exhausting thing ever. Went for a little family walk but my body was feeling tired and a bit achey. Maybe just lack of sleep. Covid tests have been negative.

Horsnell gully loop in the evening. Full of enthusiasm and went a bit too hard up the valley at the start and had a bit an energy crash after 20 mins.

Woke with a slight headache and slight sore throat which wouldn't surprise me after a big weekend, but then Lauren texted to say she had tested positive for Covid!
PCR and RAT test negative though and I feel fine, so fingers crossed we dodge it..

Bri-Glen middle distance. Wanted to feel like I was racing today, “full speed no mistakes”, since it was short enough for me to push harder. It was fun :) Spiked every control although ‘full speed’ wasn’t very fast.
5.5k course, ran 5.8k.
Fastest girl but Toby C caught me 2 mins already at 3 and did about 33mins. Nice to have such a close field with 6 girls within 10 minutes!
