Caddihoe Chase Day 1

Started very late and nearly not at all due to First Aid issues. Almost completely alone but found this helped me to keep in touch with the map and not be distracted by others. Messed up #3 and #5...too far downhill on both occasions. Confused to #8. Overall pleased with navigation however but disappointed not to make the 100min cut off point by one minute....but not last

Split into two groups tonight, so took the opportunity to run further and at a faster pace with Alan and Steve. Managed to chat most of the way and felt quite good although back and R hip beginning to seize up towards the end. Good stretching session afterwards. Felt very giddy later in the evening....?low sugar or bp or maybe slightly dehydrated (glass of wine probably didn't help)

British Middle Distance Course 6

Started off ok but messed up #3 as I was on wrong spur and found #8 instead. Messed up 12 as veg boundary was indistinct and then messed up 13 as I had 'forgotten' to follow paths. Disappointed with my performance after that but pleased not to come last.....
