Orienteering race (National Sprint) 17:16 [5] *** 3.2 km (5:24 / km) +20m 5:14 / km
spiked:18/24c shoes: Adidas ride

Not a bad run but not a good one either. Started off hard but was low on energy and was still feeling the fatigue from last weekend. Did the first loop fine losing maybe 10s on number 1 but really suffered on the running legs losing 10 seconds to Ali on both of them. Did all right through the first technical section but was in oxygen debt for the second and lost 40 seconds and was caught by Ali. We both screwed up 22 (was protested against) and then he was going faster than me on the run to the finish. Was 6th 5 seconds behind BJ so pretty guttered.

Running race (Three Peaks) 2:38:12 [5] 26.07 km (6:04 / km) +1275m 4:53 / km
shoes: Inov-8 Xtalon

Hardest and weirdest race of my life. Have been bordering on sickness for the past 4 days so was a bit worried about that and it had a telling factor at the start. Was overheating and struggling to keep a reasonable pace. Felt like i was going to have to pull out at flagstaff. Hit the juction and hit the ungulating terrain and cooled down a bit and started to feel better. Stopped at the drink station on the way to swampy at about 45mins in and took a minute or so to drink a glass of water and get leppin number 1 down. Felt really good going to swampy, ungulating terrain was nice and none of it was to steep. Caught a few people (mainly team runners) and was going strong. Hit swampy and had some nice down hill tracks down to the bottom. One bit about 10mins long that was to muddy to run properly but still kinda fun. Had leppin number 2 at the bottom of cargil and was feeling good, could see quite a few people 1-2mins infront. Didn't push it hard up the hill but wasn't cruzing and caught them all as they were walking. Slowed a bit when i hit the road up to cargil and started to suffer. About 500m from the top I hit the wall for the time in my life. Cramped, felt sick and had to walk all the way to the top doing a 12min k on the way. Had a couple of glasses of water and leppin number 3 at the top of cargil but was feeling horrible, must have looked horrible as well cause the officails actually asked if I needed to pull out with only the down hill to go! Pushed on jogging down the hill and after a couple of 7min ks down a nice track got a bit of a second wind and was able to run 5min ks down the finish even when cramping effectivly the whole way down. Finished in 2:38 which bet goal time of 2:40 but was on track for a 2:25-2:30 judging on what all the guys who passed me on the down hill did. Was 15th individual athlete.

Running warm up/down 15:00 [2] 2.82 km (5:19 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 Xtalon

Run to start and some warm up. Was way to tired to do warm down
