headlamp run. Lamp 80 minutes on max. Lmap still warm but not hot at the end, no apparent dimmig. just perfect for me.

The new battery has two Panasonic 3400mah li-ion cells in a battery holder. So I can remove them and balance or replace them. Weight is 135g. I also replaced all connectors to magicshine/lumilight connectors and use magicshine long enough extension cable, old cable was a bit too short. Recharging with lumilight charger, the original had no CE markings, became very hot and made odd sound - not going to plug that to wall ever again.

My scale says total weight is now 299g with extension cable and battery in pants back pocket, 270g with no extension cable and battery in head band.

Topias ran around nearby park with it for 10 minutes and said the lamp was a bit heavy in the front. So I guess there is still room for improvement.

Quite happy with the outcome of this lamp project. It's not the brightest lamp out there, but it gives reasonable amount of light, light pattern is good and it is comfortable and lightweight. And no chargers or cells with questionable quality used.

headlamp run. testing new battery pack, no recharge after previous run. 1h55min at max and still ok amount of light, about same as half mode with fresh battery. Maybe after 80 minutes it started to fade and lamp became not that hot.
