Lots of places I know very well, I used to live in there, shopped almost every day in the same shopping center, did running training on same streets by the harbour ans so. Strange feeling to watch it all in a movie.

Legs are heavy. I don't think this is HCR recovery thing any more, pollen must play main role here.

Company league. Ridiculous slow motion run. Half paralyzed DOMS legs, out of breath by asthma/allergy. At some point I began to walk all uphills because I noticed it did not slow me down at all. Maybe I should move to Bergen. Or to Ireland - more rain, sea wind, less pollen, better terrains and excellent result systems. Must be paradise.

AP's jwolff introduced himself 30 sek before my start by basicly saying "Hi I'm AP's jwolff, I'llstart minyte after you and I'll kick your ass". Well not quite but anyway, It did the trick. First leg was very short and I did 15 sec mistake there, and also 15 sec mistake when exiting #1 at wrong direction. So 30 sec lost. In the end jwolff won me by less than that. Well deserved, I still have lot to learn from these old foxes.

Helsinki City Run, half marathon, 10 000 runners. HCR is pretty hilly for a half marathon, and this time we had some strong wind too. But it's just good for orienteers and bad for runners.

It rained all morning, but rain stopped just before the run. No pollen in the air, it must have helped me a lot. Also flu is 5 days behind, that must be the main reason why it felt much better than two days ago.

H35 orienteers seem to have run 1.18 - 1.20 times. I think I could do close to 1.20 without flu/pollen problems, but 1.18 would need faster route and better training.

So that's why my rest HR yesterday was as high as 55 all evening and I had flu symptoms. Now have almost fever, 37.1 C, that's 0.5 more than my normal figures. I guess it's still possible I am getting sick, but most likely it's just allergy.

Pollen (or flu or both). I was ready to dnf on my way to #2, but ended up jogging the course at my own easy training pace just to get some training.

My fitness is now almost 1min/km worse than week ago. There is no point jogging/walking courses like this, it's so boring. I'll have a break now and I'll try again month or two later. So I'll call it a spring season.
