I had sent my entry to this event before my leg injuries. Because event was so near where I live, I thought I should go there, jog a bit and at least get the map. Warm up was limbing at forest, but soon I could jog slowly with only little pain. So I started the race. I walked all uphills and didn't push much, especially on paths and roads I ran very slowly and carefully - I had some nasty feelings in hamstring on paths. Anyway I didn't make any mistakes and ended up 2nd only 41 sec behind Ikis. And I got black&decker cordless drill drive. Not bad.

I didn't make warm down - no need for that after such a slow running :)

We dropped Tomi home first and then dropped Hanna R to Paloheinä. Hanna had a very ugly and scary looking Scottish man with her. I think he may have been some sort of criminal, had kidnapped Hanna and used her as hostage. Anyway, I didn't speak much, stayed quiet and didn't ask anything about it, to not get involved into anything nasty. Scary...

AM run, a hesburger loop variation. Knee was stiff but ok, some feelings in hamstring if I ran faster than 5 min pace, but nothing serious. I'll be back in notime.

Evening run to Pirkkola (WC) and back. Just barely made it there without having to be AOWN.

I can walk with my hamstring. That's good. I may be able to tun in no time. I guess it was just a cramp and it is not much broken. Similar to the injury I had last winter.

Firmaliiga (company league). Injured my hamstring right after first control, walked slowly back to car. I hope it's like the injury I had in Spain last winter and I'd be able to run pretty soon again. But it may be my next race is 25-manna.

collecting emit units after the event. Too easy and short to be logged as training, so this is intensity 0.

Tried to run 10k on track with steady 90 sec / loop pace, thought it would not be too hard or max effort, but it felt so tough I cut it shout. I guess I didn't drink enough during the long sunny day at our district champs, but it's obvious I am far from being fit.

On track. 15 x ~61 sec (~300m), 30 sec rest. And then after few minutes rest 1000m 3:16, not max effort, no sprint finish, tried to stay relaxed.

The usual chase control putting interval training. Minna started 90 sec after me, in last interval Minna started first, I about 2 min later.

My running felt and looked like jogging of an over weighted, middle aged man who has bad asthma. Well, not just felt and looked like it, that's exactly what it was...

My run wasn't as clean as it looks, there was some unnecessary stops and hooks near some controls (I just didn't know how to draw them). But despite it I must say this Runoway site is pretty cool. There is also beta/test version with possibility to upload gps tracks, I need to try that later too (I forgot to put my gps on - did it at #1 - I hope it will not spoil it).

This was my firs race with my led headlight - lamp was great. Actually I ran with same clothes I had in my profile page photo, so I looked a lot like that, just a bit older, fatter and balder.
