Rode confusingly up to Northville, as my 820 in battery saver mode rarely gives turn suggestions, and also gets easily confused and spends most of its life recalculating. I used Apple Maps to free myself from one subdivision.

The trails on the former psychiatric hospital grounds is amusing, would be good to go with slightly more time and loop it perhaps. Not quite flat enough for Harvey, flat by any normal standards, few roots.

Stopped and looked at a 12" bike at a garage sale, not sure Harvey will go for it as it does not have gaudy graphics for some cartoon or superhero.

Efficiently on balance bike. Really thinking of stepping back to a 12” for maneuverability

TTC triple trail challenge once again kicked my butt. I did start off too bad, just light on hill power, had fun at DTE, but when ice cream at the party store perked up Ken, I crashed and was dead. No hill power. Coincidentally it was warm by this point. Had to walk a few hills.

Kathy from the trail funding and maintenance was super nice, she knows BNM and said, “real nice lady”, to which I strongly concurred.

Ken would have been much faster without me. I need more fitness or slower friends hahahahahaha

I had to pick up our number plates for Triple Trail, but didn't plan well enough to ride the 17 miles each way, so I drove down and then popped over to try Hewens Creek.

The Red loop might be perfect for Harvey. Worn in, pancake flat, not many roots.

Yellow has portions that are pretty much grass, so good AR.

Very twisty.

I have no idea how to properly exit to Rolling Hills. At one point I was behind a bunch of abandoned vehicles and boats, not sure if I was supposed to zag around that or what. Seemed sketchy. I will have to look at tracks further.

Started to get under time pressure...25 minutes to eat cereal, last minute glove change, but made it since he rode well other than one ambitious corner attempt where he came in hot but did an early apex and ended up rolling through some grass. Have to work on his cornering lines.

Happy 6000th mile, Disc Trucker! (Does include trainer use)

Buddy is taking Wednesday afternoons off, so I aligned my lunch ride between meetings and he rode the 4-5 miles over, and then has to ride the 4-5 miles back.

Quite a tailwind on the way out, so the trip back up to Plymouth was a bit of a struggle.

Good times!

It's not DiGiorno, it's delivery! Returning (1) accidentally kept-after-WT borrowed map case.

Bit of a "bit off more than I could chew." I thought it was closer to 15 miles, it was a little more, I thought I could ride closer to 15 mph, I could not, so more than I intended slightly. No harm done though I think.

Just for fun type ride. I thought the single track might be too wet..it wasn't, but figured I could run the gravel bits parallel and then do the little section I tend to miss if I want to break an hour.

Deer, an "I H8 MEN" tagged dumpster, many groundhogs.

Gswede says driving is too expensive at the IRS rate. Meanwhile, I'm over here in Ghosts that would be considered bald if they were tires at not quite 200 miles, at a cost of about $100/pair, so $.50 a mile to walk not including the chub rub destroying my pants and shorts that I would not incur in a car.

And then track stand practice!
