Dear daughter, please want to go to Nationals, that excuse is sooo much nicer than the alternative.

0-5 that's a lot of wind
5-10 no one can accuse the Amish of underfeeding their horses
40-55 I will not phone my father in law, I will not phone my father in law

Once I gave up on time, and until mile 40, stopping to take pics was kind of enjoyable.

Ready to roll. Will I match or better my 2012 time? So hopeful at the start.

It's hard to see, but there is a miniature Eiffel Tower back there, and access was closed and I cried.

The Muskegon view is nice though.

Still a little snow in these parts. And this gets quality sun all day!

In my defense, it was not all that super hard pack that rolls as fast as asphalt.

Photo doesn't do it justice, but that's a pretty long way down. I need to check if there's access and no one to shoot you for doing reps.

Literally less than five miles to go, but it called for a light snack and wardrobe change (add high vis jacket, add tights) after getting a little chilled when my watts ran completely out.

Walking 25:00 [1] 1.25 mi (20:00 / mi)
shoes: Ghost 2018 Blue

I had the Move ring sorted from last night's bike ride that started before midnight but finished after, but needed the workout box checked so just a lap around the property. Between oil change, drive time, and wrangling, day went by quickly.

I intended to reset and get it at lunch time, however work conspired against.

For computer nerds, we have some very similar looking floating point conversions that don't end up with the same numbers when they end up hex/binary.

I seem to warm up a bit after 30 minutes.

Also, I should be more realistic, yes, getting up at 5 am and doing two shows will catch up to one's friends faster, but if you are going to get up at 5, be tired and not actually get up, then snooze until too late for anything, that's not exactly productive. Shoot for a good number, be content with that, double later if possible.

Walking 30:00 [0] 2.0 mi (15:00 / mi)

I...grossly...underestimated the time to prep the flags for Joe's meet. Also, I grossly underestimated the ease of demo-ing Or, which is refusing to let me connect to the remote box, despite SI Config, Meos, and Geco all working fine. So 90 minutes of installations and such no luck, which killed my chance to hike the big hill in Chelsea.

I also applied for a promotion. Perhaps the biggest risk is the "requires strong communication skills", meanwhile all of my performance reviews suggest I don't possess that skill.
