Maybury Maze course. Lots of fun. Did not see tape at 1 or 6, let's see what LiveLox says!

Also, there was some sort of 5k at the same time, big enough that they had an inflatable arch. I should have set up a table!! Who knew!

Temps were not terrible in the woods.

LiveLox says I went through #1 on the first pass, not sure if tape is down or I'm blind. I could well be blind.

Beautiful morning. Intentionally went a little easier. Still no sign of either old hr strap, or charger for watch.

Someone has a move-in date for this beautiful parking spot of July 8th. The back wheel is about eight feet from my laptop. RIP super sweet convenience.

T storm warning meant an unusual tail wind, so a low effort but great time was in the works, until I sprinted for all I was worth, beat the train to the next junction, but the gates went down waaaaay early (like a minute or two). Ten minutes of train later, I could finish up the remaining two blocks.

I have to enjoy this while it lasts. My boss's boss, and that guy's boss are both moving to this building closer to the main campus, and I think they want to survey their fiefdom more readily, so we will be moved over there as well.

It adds roughly three miles more biking, which starts to make round trips a little less tempting, as the inbound turns from 60 ish to 75 ish,and outbound goes from 75 ish to 90 ish. Plus the last few blocks is no fun - it's a nicer neighborhood than the last few blocks to my current office, but it has a ton more distracted people in a hurry to get to work, so you end up doing an extra few blocks of rigmarole.

For the summer, I could just do it as split then (drive in, bike home, bike in, drive home) and pad mileage here and there, but there's no chance of that during the school year unless we get a third car so I can drop off H when I don't have a car.

Also, I'm not 100% certain of the shower situation, although if I retained my badge access to the monster building, that has showers and lockers and I can stop there, it's kitty corner (although a ten minute walk if you count the light).

Also, I can currently bring my bike right into the adjacent empty cube; both my new building and the one with lockers have "cattle doors", so I'm left to chain it up outside (do I need to remove....lights? tools?)

Always...if I could go as fast as the people that pass me!
