Canoeing 1:00:10 [2] 4.04 mi (14:54 / mi)

HRM is MIA

Great hour of power paddle with w4j. I'm a single blade believer. 4 mph average on our first go, including launch, rain jacket removal, extended switching practice, island looping shenanigans? Shows promise.

In case anyone wonders why I didn't do real exercise yesterday:

Okay, apparently using google's link shortening with google maps violates google's terms of service? LOL Anyway, it was home->work->my school->work->kid's school->home->kid's school->home.

The 3hr45min / 200 miles is without traffic, and excludes the hour of driving on the test track.

Biking 10:00 [3] 1.5 mi (9.0 mph)
shoes: Ye Olde Schwinne

Saw Topo at EECS. Or The Mountain. I'm guessing Topo.

Biking 1:18:51 [3] 6.59 mi (5.0 mph) +243m
shoes: Jamis Dragon Sport 29er

Trail mapping, just in case some sort of upcoming o course goes near fresh cut reroute.

I was sooo glad I couldn't find my bike shoes and just went in trek shoes - no need to crash 80x on crazy drops and climbs on Torn Shirt.

Salads...so many salads in my future.

"Welcome to the Blue Tractor! We have fabulous barbecue and burgers. What would you like?"
"Do you have a piece of chicken you can put on something a rabbit would nibble on? I would LOVE that, thanks."

Note

Well that was exciting. Off leash dog jogged up to us, so I nodded disapprovingly at the half-block-behind Sergeant Friendly before shooing the dog away, and he launched into an expletive filled tirade. I missed videoing the first half, but I did get the part where he went into his garage and came back with a large walking stick. At one point, without the stick, he touched his considerable belly against mine but didn't swing. I was prepared to take one to send him to jail.

He called Kimberly a w**** at the end but I felt that not "defending her honor" was probably more of interest to Kimberly than scuffling with someone with some issues.

It sounds like this is not the first show his neighbors have seen.
