Just sneaked out to Blue and Yellow at Bishop Lake with dear wife so I could be back to watch the World Champs men's 10000 m in Moscow.

Call them flyers, 100 for $20

Wednesday Aug 7, 2013 #

Note

Living room restoration, 3 hrs.

Hoping my permit is approved by Monday so I can scout courses next week when wife and daughter and dogs are gone.

Note

~three hours of moving furniture, pulling up carpet, popping staples, and light priming.

Tomorrow will be restore furniture. This is not trivial since my hand made armoire was stupidly designed by ypurs truly 2" taller than the door. And my tv weighs 200 odd pounds.

Note

Removed carpet. I sweated, but not sure it even makes a 0.

Good practice alternating points with Mark VT on the USGS version of the Yankee Springs permanent course. There are some really nice sections of woods out there. And even the thick stuff didn't last too long and wasn't terrible. Nice day. My biggest blunder was thinking I would recognize some very soft large reentrant; instead I overshot and ended up in a depression. Whoops. I probably should have aimed at the swamp better.

Also, if you stomp on a mylar balloon, it sounds like a gunshot.
