Orienteering race (Red Couses) 1:31:27 [4] 5.79 mi (15:48 / mi)
ahr:147 max:164 slept:8.0 weight:121lbs

Ran the red course at Sessions Woods...... did good but for 2 little goofs and one big one.... But I felt I was in control on the whole run and I knew right away when I goofed and relo-ed fast... I felt like I could read the map and have it match the ground...... the goofs came at the end when I was tired just like out at Buffalo... I have to slow down and think more when tired and not just run blind.... I lost a good 8 minutes,,,, on 16 and 17 I went to left of the bag.... knew right away and headed to right and found the bag right where it should be... I seem to be heading left alot... I will have to fix this...... then saw someone on my tail from 21 to 22 and pushed the pace and took the wrong trail... and lost a ton of time..... and ran an extra 800 m. I should have back tracked and I would have cut the lost time in half but I thought I could cut through the jungle WRONG !!!
so what should have been a great run was lost..... but nice course thanks George and Lynn..... *** I now only have 1,976 controls to find *** George...

Hiked (Trail work) 3:00:00 [0] 3.0 mi (1:00:00 / mi)

hiked the south end of my section of the Mohawk Trail..... wanted to ck how bad Irene messed up the trail... did brushing and clearing of blow downs as I went..... I will have to go back nest week and ck the North sec... and then relo. the trail around or clear two big blow downs when I have a chain saw with me.... Trail was in better shape then I thought it would be.... people can go around the blow downs so the trail is open....
