Walton Lodge, Stubbing Court, Stoneedge Golf course
easy and short tonight but turns out I could have done more, certainly faster (the group is getting slower), very muddy

Orienteering race 1:44:47 [5] 14.01 km (7:29 / km) +308m 6:44 / km
shoes: Inov8 O-Roc

November Classic, Bramshaw Wood, Black
running Black for distance and a chance of ranking points (failed), fallen trees and excess water made this more difficult than it might have been, attacked off unmapped stream junction #1, drifted right consistently on bearings, slow from halfway but still running at the end

23rd (out of 48), 30mins behind Peter Bray, hmmm.

The Edges (super-extended plus)
the route was 3km further than I remembered, nearly the 20km max, but a nice steady pace throughout, the final climb after over 18km was tougher than usual

ah, seems I ran this route 7mins faster back in February when it was dry, also 4mins faster in Nov last year

Cromford Moor
a short session before some mapping, two trips up to the trig, plus one from the entrance to the north, wearing a camelbak to carry my Samsung, phone and a fresh top for post-run, maybe a kilo
