WMOC Sprint Final
course much too straightforward, a mini-urban not a sprint, tried to start off with a good pace, but lost intensity thru #4-#7, pushed again in the final stages but penultimate SI didn't register so had to go back losing 5+ secs and 5+ places!!! rain held off and cobbles were dry so X-claws weren't ideal footwear

37th, 1.43 behind winner, three guys one second ahead

WMOC Riga, Sprint, Heat 3
pretty clean run on a straightforward course, very slow to get going, but pushed the pace later, may have opted for the wrong side (R) on the long leg, not sure, qualified comfortably

10th, 1.02 behind winner, 5secs ahead of Jon Cross (for a change)

KV's core-conditioning & hip stretches, should have been doing these more frequently in the last two weeks, muscles have tightened after the fall last wednesday, rib sore on left side
