Orienteering race 1:03:18 [5] 8.09 km (7:49 / km) +185m 7:01 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212

EM League, Eyam, Blue
good course, with a coupld of bingo controls, ran hard when I could, orienteering a bit loose in places

#1 may have seen the control but discounted it due to visibility and position, should've relocated on the first depression but pressed on, not thinking [60]
#2 chose RH option and ran hard on paths, but further and slow into control
#4 boulder further down hill than expected [30]
#5 navigated to re-entrant, but control was just above as you entered, had to stop and work it out [60]
#8 bingo pit, bearing took me 20-30m to the right, feature/flag only visible from 10m [3mins]
#14 missed right slightly, feature seemed more like a depression than a re-entrant [30]

running 1:07:04 [3] 12.66 km (5:18 / km) +240m 4:50 / km
shoes: Inov8 Race Ultra 290

Tansley Moor Loops
dragged myself out into the night, wasn't sure it was the right thing to do as I puffed up the hill, but the 8min split was respectable, uneventful from there, right thigh tightened coming down across Matlock Bank

Note
(sick)

I've had this sniffling, snotty minor cold for almost two weeks now, today it got a bit worse, feeling as foggy as the weather

running 1:31:25 [2] 13.35 km (6:51 / km) +310m 6:08 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212

Brassington, Bank Top, Bradbourne, Ballidon, Pasture Lane
too much pfaff tonight, low visibility plus poor concentration from them that knew the route, got intercepted by a landowner at Bank Top, who politely sent us back the other way, not knowing the distance remaining made the experience more arduous, slow with faster periods
