Orienteering race 49:32 [5] 5.93 km (8:21 / km) +49m 8:01 / km
(sick) shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212

Hurstwood, Short Brown
struggled physically, couldn't achieve any kind of pace, without also losing mental capacity, and as I had to be back home by 4.15, I cut my losses, not really sure what's wrong

#1 neglected to adhere to my bearing, drifted high, distracted by Scott Collier who was even further up [3mins]

Saturday Sep 17, 2016 #

Note
(sick)

Not so much a head cold as an allergy: inflamed sinuses, leading to headaches, dehydration, and a desire to nod off

(sick) shoes: Inov8 Race Ultra 290

Oker Loop
sinuses inflamed so didn't risk a long one, very warm (22°), and very slow, possibly my slowest ever time on this route

shoes: Inov8 Race Ultra 290

Winster, Aldwark, Pikehall (almost), Elton
quads really tight after the Kinder run, also a touch of a head cold, but it was going to be warm out, didn't feel strong, but better than last week, slow at the end
