Pittwater Dunes
farewell run at Pittwater on the morning of departure, continuing the tradition begun by Henrik, planned a course using Stu's taped sites, plus a few extra in the best bit, perfect conditions, but pressed stop instead of lap when I started the course proper, only noticed after leaving #9

very quickly realised I was still suffering from a mild cold, I could feel it on my chest, so was surprised to emerge victorious (at least in the adult race), managed to run through it, bit of route choice today, but at 1:5000 going around wasn't very far out of your way so I favoured that option

#1 attacked high but between me and the level of the control lay unmarked embankments [20]
#11 hesitated (out of fatigue) on route choice and didn't see simple path route, no problems my way either [10]
#14 thought about cutting the corner [10]
#16 assumed control would be located at foot of cliff, didn't read descriptions, didn't see flag [30]

2nd, 5mins behind Jarrah, 10secs ahead of his dad :)
