running 33:00 [3] 6.5 km (5:05 / km) +15m 5:01 / km

Appledore
easy run out to the edge of Northam Burrows and back, SW Coastal path isn't well signposted out of the town, strong breeze coming in from the south-west

Garmin malfunction, had to measure the distance myself

6 PM

running warm up/down 8:45 [2] 1.4 km (6:15 / km)
shoes: More Mile Cheviot 2

easy run around 40 Acre wood before 2km intervals

running intervals 26:00 [4] 6.0 km (4:20 / km) +15m 4:17 / km
shoes: More Mile Cheviot 2

3 x 2km intervals with 2mins rest: 8.37 8.39 8.40

slightly faster than the threshold pace (of 4.25/k) indicated by my vdot, probably due to over-eager first sections, fairly comfortable, but would have been a struggle to do another

running warm up/down 5:00 [1] 0.5 km (10:00 / km)
shoes: More Mile Cheviot 2

little walk/jog (with stretches) to warm down

shoes: Saucony Peregrine

Tansley Moor Loop
perfect conditions for a run, warm, clear, and a gentle breeze, as I didn't get a 'long' one in yesterday I thought I'd better do it tonight (busy tomorrow), set out to take it easy but the pace ended up better than that, don't think I've done Farley Hill any faster, in fact, this was probably over 2mins quicker than all previous efforts

(Garmin may have under-estimated the distance too)

Harborough Rocks, Hopton Incline
arrived too late for the monday night run so doubled back to Harboro to have a wander, ran right around the back then up to the trig, two more shorter loops dropping halfway down and to the top again, then fast along the High Peak trail to the bottom of Hopton Incline and back, should've put in another ascent, but wanted to get to the pub by the time the guys returned

new shoes are a bit slidey across the slopes
