Note
(sick)

felt washed out last night and my hosts had non-run friendly plans for my last day anyway

running intervals 10:00 [4] 2.0 km (5:00 / km) +60m 4:21 / km

Tallinn Old Town
the extra loop I did yesterday was quite good so I thought I'd turn it into an interval session, but I spent more time standing outside in sub-zero temperature waiting for the Garmin to locate the satellites

in the end I did two intervals and gave up: I estimate around 4:50 for each 1km loop with 30m climb, including steps and pedestrians

Orienteering 22:37 [3] 3.61 km (6:16 / km) +38m 5:57 / km

Tallinn Old Town
found another sprint course on the old town map (start and finish just down the road) so I did a quick dash around that ...

had to flat-foot it across a lot of icy paths, but the rest was nicely runnable

(would've been eighth on the day)

running hills 5:17 [4] 1.12 km (4:43 / km) +34m 4:06 / km

Tallinn Old Town
the wee sprint course wasn't enough (didn't run hard enough) so I put in an effort to get the top of the hill and down again

Pirita Rand, Tallinn
took the bus out to the beach/wood on the outskirts of Tallinn and ran around the place with another O-map I found on the web

the path I'd identified a week ago was now an ice-track so I had to run on the snow-covered beach and then back inside the wood, had fun ducking along smaller paths and looping back to the beach

Note
(rest day)

Tallinn is an ice-rink without the disco music.
