pretty straightforward, feared I was coming down with a cold but felt strong when I got out there, main challenge was maintaining concentration under sustained verbal abuse from an irate woman - "stop fucking running" - and adapting to the out-of-date/idiosyncratic mapping, couple of hesitations in the circle

1st, 2mins ahead of Chas
(most, but not all, of which was due to diversion caused by irate woman: she made me run faster and I found a way through the grot)

YHOA Superleague, Ramsley Moor, Black
paced myself for a slightly longer race, laboured a bit through the tussocks third time across (45min mark), fell over 4 or 5 time overall, but a clean steady run, just a long pause to check position when aiming off at #1 (unnecessary really), favoured straight routes to attack points

9th, 14mins behind Alistair Thornton, 4 behind Ant Squire, but ahead of Quentin (a scalp!)
