lost my mojo this week, a mix of fatigue, disappointment, anxiety (over possibly injury) and so on, had to drag myself out despite the sunshine (too darn warm), not much to report, steady

easy run to test the calf/achilles and have a look at what has happened to the wood - don't seem to be fences around the cabins though I wonder about permission to orienteer, calf/achilles was tight no worse than that

not in a race, but went off hard to see who I could catch, clean orienteering until I memorised the wrong control code and ran past my flag at #9 muttering about the feature being identical to mine (1min), right calf/achilles quite sore and this time it didn't wear off, until maybe 25mins had passed

Bentley was looking resplendent today, acres of bluebells, running through them felt kind of naughty, generally very runnable, maybe too fast, knackered after 40mins (less than 6km), couple of annoying little misses (little miss tiny knoll and little miss hidden behind a holly bush)

6th, 18mins behind RR and <8m behind Alastair L

muscles felt weird across the first field, especially right leg, thought I might have to abandon, but it sorted itself out, more terrain in the mix today and three visits to the trig point, pleasant, then I slipped on a stile and - almost - did myself some serious damage tipping over the other side, scraped the inside of left knee
