Stanton Moor
no spirals today, a big loop before some hill intervals and then a loop back to the car, felt a bit laboured going out, but the sun shines on the righteous and it came out for the intervals, it's only a short hill through runnable wood but I'm doubled-over at the end of each one: 6 x 45 secs (120m with 15m climb)

loop from Curbar Gap north below the edges to the Plough Inn, up to Eyam and around via Riley Graves, mixed terrain, sloppy paths to start, bit of road (welcome), faded near the end when we came out on the lower path and had several hundred metres more uphill than expected

lovely run out, at a sort of tempo pace aiming for smooth orienteering, pretty good, two misses at the same big (shallow) depression, passed within 10m the first time (according to GPS), on the second visit got my pace counting wrong attacked beyond it

gotta wear glasses, without them I don't get enough info from the map from a quick glance, start to wing it, as I did today, messed up #1, losing confidence about which bit of green I'd entered, several other long legs and only got one of them right, looks like straight over the top was best at #14 (light green must have been okay), still I got a good workout and bagged the overall win in the EM League

5th, 8mins down on Jay-T (who ran over 1km less than me!)
