A rather bad showing at the second day of the Rochester meet. A summary of the cause and character of mistakes: I was pretty much all over the map, did not focus enough, missed features that I should have seen along the way. I should have done more aiming off, and funneling myself to an attackpoint/control feature; need to remind myself during training as well as during races that safety of route choice combined with knowing where you are on the map at all times (or, at least, knowing for certain where you will end up) are paramount

first day of the Rochester A-Meet; not bad, considering the climb; some poor route choices, but at least a lack of significant mistakes (knew where I was on the map all the time)

was considering running some today, but maybe that's not a good idea in view of the 12k race on Saturday, and the 7k race on Sunday; probably will go for a medium difficulty run tomorrow

managed to do some rollerskiing before class today; don't fall anymore if I don't go too fast

intervals with the ski team in Denahy park; sometimes ran against Boris who is faster than me on those; approximated the running pace
