Contemplated precautionary A&E visit this morning. L adductor worryingly painful & seat bone pain encourages me to keep active. V pleased to manage a short drive and walk in the woods later.

Annoyed at myself for coming off yesterday. Have to assume corners might be greasy & wet. Fitting wider winter tyres and reducing pressures even more would help too.

Social Mod - Haslemere-Loxwood-Haven-Adversane-W Chittlington-RSPB-Petworth-JobsLane-H Light rain midway & end.
Eventful ride- was leading and came off on a slippery bend by Plaistow Church, went over handlebars glancing side impact helmet and landed on L hip. Continued after 5 mins in the lead but in the return direction(!), someone caught up asking if I was heading home & I didn't understand/hear. Looked back 200m later and no one was there! Realised what had happened and caught up the extra 1.5k on a good section of road. Hip not great especially on seat bone when we stopped or after restarted, difficulty clipping in and lost confidence. Seized up after drive home. Exercised in bath and hip clicked twice painlessly and seems to have done the trick. Group were helpful & v understanding, especially my namesake. Exercising afterwards was the most helpful advice.

Woking CC Hill Climb - Camping Ground CP to Mytchett Byway, 1.7k long 55m climb.
Flat start and finish with 7% early and 11% later which I could spin up nicely.
5.20 to wake legs up and 4.50 second time. 18s quicker will get me onto the Girlie Strava Leaderboard- unfinished business!

4 x Hill b/w ranges & Mychett Triangle, av 2.47, partial recovery starting 2.30 later. Flat start concave to around 6%.

Cycling 53:00 [3] 15.1 mi (3:31 / mi) +180m 3:23 / mi

Legs still tired from w/e and changed mind about about intervals, then came to this hill and decided it was ideal. Legs felt a lot better afterwards for it.
