Orienteering race 1:02:16 [4] 8.5 km (7:20 / km) +300m 6:14 / km

Mytchett - Military Challenge Blue 62.16 - 8.5k 300m (actual) - waterlogged!
Nearest thing to to a perfect run for 20 years. Had no energy from the start, so only rarely running at threshold. Very surprised despite feeling so flat that my concentration held up, which says a lot for the planner (Colin) for yet another clever course.

Bagshot - BAOC Training Event Blue - 59.56 - 6.9k
Very wet, did this more as training run/O practice, near perfect for 11 controls then mind was more on work and lost around 4.5 mins. Very good course by Colin.

Need a good 15 mins to wu at the moment.

Had virtually no soreness from calves after Sunday and legs recovered a day quicker, so should be able add another weekly session in January.

Best chiropractor I've had, with others I left feeling better, with this guy you feel beaten up, yet he never forces anything and there's no cracking of joints and unlike the others he insists on no stretching or running for 48 hours.

Note

Saw chiropractor, very worthwhile, he thought muscle strain and other symptoms are due an increased arch in lower back and some squeezed nerves elsewhere. Fingers crossed. Probably need a shorter stem on bike after fit changes at end of July, been stretching too far.
