Note

Calf's been sore and sometimes warm to touch, nothing worse for a change, not sure if progress, or active recovery, definitely better than ibu that just delays later inflammation.

Swimming 15:00 [3] 0.5 km (30:00 / km)

25m pool - set off to pool yesterday not feeling 100% and decided to be sensible and left it until today. Calf similar to yesterday.

Sunday Feb 21, 2016 #

Spinning 2:00 [0]

Turned the pedals slowly, slightly sore only - progress.

Sunday Feb 14, 2016 #

Swimming 15:00 [2] 0.4 km (37:30 / km)

SSP(50m) - 8 x 50 easy. Around 9 weeks off. Stretched before going, tight rather sore, which is better than restarting back in August. Very little fitness lost.

Walking 50:00 [1]

Easy longish solo dog walk. Start of the regime. Walked along an animal track at Blackheath, calf not happy on "uneven ground". Pathetic, nothing to do with nerve. 36 hours ibu.

Note

I've finally self diagnosed what's wrong with my calf. The sapheous nerve is trapped in some scar tissue (a lot). Got a plan of how to try and relieve it. 3-4 different nerve flossing exercises and walking 3-4 times a day. Worth a try.
