British Middle Champs - Brereton Spurs

I think it's best to take the positives from this - namely that I improved upon my position from last year and everyone ahead of me was half decent (plus certainly faster runners).

#2 Confused by path as I hadn't noticed it on the map. Also too far east [15]
#4 Probably the easiest control on the course. But for some reason I was looking on the corner of the wrong thicket. I just couldn't understand how the control was not where I was looking. Double checked my position by running back down the path. Yes. Double checked description. Yes. Looked at map again and finally realised. Such a frustrating error [80]
#6 Got caught in a load of crap, then had to detour north as the rough open looked impenetrable [10]
#7 Hesitant that I was on the correct spur. Description not much help once the wall was located [10]
#10 Paused early on the spur at an unmapped bush [10]
#11 Struggled to interpret the map; too far south, then unsure of control location [30]
#13 Again, misinterpreted contours and detoured all the way around the hill [15]
#16 Too low for the crossing point [10]
#20 Went to the control in the re-entrant first [10]
#22 Stuck in a load of crap. Josh Beech (2mins) came past. He helped me through the next section... [10]
#31 Very confused on exit from previous control by fence which seemed to extend further than mapped. Bit of a roundabout route as a result [10]
#32 Didn't spot an easy place to cross the grot and ended up doing an extremely inefficient double back on the path [15]
#34 Slow, inefficient route [10]
