Should have started earlier but liked the extra sleep and slow morning too. 88F felt like 90; run felt like .... Just kept picking away at it and managed to keep it as a longer run.

OLOU Sprint Finale --- Chase the Rabbit (2.5 km)
Meet 25 Race 39
(no watch data, forgot to hit start)

A bit more continuous and aggressive run than I have been having in the past few months.

Poor choice going through the green to 2; control 3 appeared quickly and right of my line. Headed immediately on bearing to 4, missed badly to the right; poor reading on 5 not pushing far enough before getting to the control. The most egregious error was passing by control 9, I think that I passed the opposite side of a denser bit of brush, but I just cruised for 40 s in an cloud of confusion before fixing the mistake. Lots of back and forth with Aaron and, in the first half, Emma, before I decided to split from Aaron and chance a different route to 16. There were smaller errors at 18 and 19, pauses and moments of lost contact. It was a fun course; some rapid easy bits, then a chance to get caught by the interspersed harder parts. Ken did a nice job planning it and Aaron's map is much better. A good night.

I get to be the big bunny for a year.
