Bernheim Burn (OLOU), 11 km

A cold, windy day and early starts so I didn't warm up. Whether this and the associated rituals or what I ate the night before was the problem, I had abdominal cramps starting about C4 and had built up by C7. I made a poor choice there, leaving Ben going to the left cliffs rather than the right (in both senses of the word) cliffs. Stopped for bathroom twice on the course and walked the last 40%. Not what I was hoping to do but I finished. A few bags (nearly) on the ground didn't help my humor. For the record, I'm good with low as long as it is visible in the circle or mapped in a pit or ditch.

Day 2 - some grid walking but mostly just updates in beautiful open forest and trail networks. The daffodils at old homesites are popping up! It will probably about the same amount of time as today to get the remaining segments done. Starting to shift my focus from having features to using features. Woo!
