Meet 8, course 11

Best way to start the 5th decade. The Valentine's meet not at Possum Creek. Had a good time on Tom's course. This was my first time to this venue and I liked the amount of complexity within fairly low steepness. A bit brushy but again, it was better than PC. And the stream crossings were dry foot except one minor one early in the course. Clean through 12, difficulty with 13 but shook that off. Met a runner on my approach to 15, my brain lost power for about 15 seconds and I crossed the bridge. I managed to build this into a 17 min detour which was compounded by the heavier snow and lack of visibility with wet glasses at the end of the race. Given that the net result was not very pleasing, I am choosing to only remember 18 controls. A long drive back after sitting on I-70 for an hour (went 1/4 of a mile in this time) and 40 miles of backroads home.
