Orienteering (race) 1:47:05 [5]
14c

2nd day of the North American Champs. Was having a much better day, although still making too many mistakes. Had to call it quits early because we had to catch a plane. Needed about another 10 minutes.

Orienteering (race) 1:21:22 [3]
5c

1st day of the North American Classic Champs. Had a horrible day. Messed up control #2 and #4. The terrain was such that if you made a mistake then you thrash around in the featureless swamp forever. Called it quits on the way to #6. Walked in from there on the deep sandy trails.

14c

Canadian Short Distance Champs. Had a couple of mistakes that did me in. Realized 2 days later that the map was at a 10000 scale instead of 15000.

Orienteering (race) 1:04:10 [5] 7.93 km (8:05 / km) +120m 7:31 / km
12c

This terrain was very open with lots of house-sized hills everywhere. Could see a long ways. Made a mistake on the first control then over ran a control later.

Orienteering (race) 1:34:07 [5] 6.8 km (13:50 / km) +260m 11:37 / km

Very detailed terrain. This was my favorite for the entire APOC event. I made a couple of mistakes that required a bailout. Was able to cut my losses.

Orienteering (race) 2:24:23 [4] 6.35 km (22:44 / km) +145m 20:24 / km

First day of APOC.
This area was detailed and very slashy. Spent 45 minutes on one control, then made a couple of other mistakes later in the race from fatigue.
