Strained my back 2 hours before my start. This changed my strategy from run hard to run easy. I ran easy being careful of my back. this took a toll on my thighs as I putting more work on them in order to favor my back.
Running slow may have helped me. I was fairly clean out there if not fast. I was happy with my run.
