I had first start. Woods were very thick and tough to get through, especially with sore leg. I was hoping to run more but ended up doing a lot of walking on my bad leg. Screwed up three and spent a lot of time wandering.

Hobbled my way around the course. Map is in serious need of updating. Only some of the larger items were mapped and I could adjust. I spent a fair amount of time trying to read the detail that wasn't there. There were times when even knew exactly where I was, I couldn't confirm by looking at the map and the terrain around me.

shoes: 2011 Nike Max Agitate

I tried to run this race rather than hobble or walk. Hurt my leg again by slipping at the spectator control. Did ok, one minor thing at one time.
