My biking shoes were in Christine's car so I tried biking with running shoes on and it wasn't very productive so I called it quits early.

Flour City H3 from the Fairy trail parking lot at Mendon Ponds, set by not Casserole. Surprisingly small turnout for the first Thursday hash on a glorious evening. Fetch and PD were out for the first time since late summer and as the trail stretched on, I slowed to a walk with each of them for long stretches.

Day off as I met Christine and Luke after work to pick up our suits for Hannah's wedding, then we went out for a steak dinner to celebrate Luke's completion of a clean college career - all 4.0s for 4 years while knocking off his masters degree and running 400s and 4x4s in the 40s.

Another workout at the Thomas track. This time 4x800m at tempo pace with 1 min recovery between each. Goal was to keep it under 9:30 pace and that was successful:

I could have done another one (probably not under 4:30), so 9:10 tempo pace (VDOT almost 35) was easier than my previous track workout (VDOT just over 33) and Rep work on the grass (VDOT under 34), confirming my fitness is better than my speed.
