Easy jog / walk on the Hojack trail. Went with waking 45 seconds after each Dark Industrial song. Just went out 1.5 miles and turned around.

First outdoor ride and first RBC ride since my Achille's injury last June. Everyone was doing the 28 mile loop, so I had to that, which probably would have been fine except we hit the Fuhrman hill five miles in which made the rest of the ride feel longer. Leaders waited at the end of Fuhrman and again around 11 miles in. I was in the back for most of that time, but then a slower pace started in back and I thought I could catch the next two riders, but could not, so I was alone the rest of the way.

Wanted to go a little longer, so I just jogged one song then walked 45 seconds. Had a nice industrial mix on courtesy of Prime, so caught some KMFDM, NIN, Skinny Puppy, etc. for a nice change of pace. Ran from the Big Field, so lots of the little ups and downs in the Big Woods and Whiting.

Opened the 2022 Map Hike season at Chestnut Ridge. Parked in the lot near the eternal flame and knocked off 8 controls, but 2 of the first 3 seemed to be missing. #21 was mapped at a distinct tree right by the main trail, so may have gone missing already, but #16 was at a root stock just safely enough off the beaten path that it should be safe, and though I'm sure I was at the right root stock, no marker in sight.
