Orienteering race 1:51:35 [1] 4.51 mi (24:45 / mi)

ROC Meet at Webster Park. All 4 kids also participated!

A couple of mistakes, but the bad one was because I forgot to wear my glasses.

Biking tempo 7:18 [2] 2.03 mi (3:36 / mi)

P=145, C=70

Biking 29:36 [3] 7.87 mi (3:46 / mi)

Looked for a soft PR and found one. Fell 27 seconds behind the 200 pacer and 40 seconds behind my ghost in the first 4-ish miles, but rallied and reeled them in.

Biking 10:27 [3] 2.93 mi (3:34 / mi)
ahr:125 max:150

P=199, C=66
Found another soft PR to beat.

Biking warm up/down 2:00 [2] 0.5 mi (4:00 / mi)

.1, .2, .2 after the routes.

Biking warm up/down 5:00 [2] 1.25 mi (4:00 / mi)
ahr:144 max:157

P=126, C=60

HR must be wrong. 5 minutes of dragon chasing - only 13,223 as I hit water just before getting a 4x silver dragon.

Orienteering 1:22:08 [1] 2.7 mi (30:24 / mi) +58m 28:30 / mi

Was attempting to pick up the remaining Map Hike controls at Hunter's Creek. Last I knew, there were 4 left out there. I started with the most distant control, #22 and spent 9 minutes looking around. I remember that I had trouble finding it last year, but since I didn't suggest moving it, it must have been in the middle of the circle. I gave up and went after C20. It was a pretty easy spot to find on the map, and no control, so I spent a few minutes checking before moving on to C18, thinking that perhaps Walt or Patty had snuck out and grabbed the rest. Sure enough, when I got to the boulder which was without question the right one (there is only one anywhere in the vicinity), there was no control, so I skipped C13, since it was getting dark.

Swimming 1:20:00 [3] 1.79 mi (44:41 / mi)

It had been awhile, so I went with a longer course that had a soft PR. Couldn't hang with the 200 pacer early without a w/up, but I gradually pulled away from the ghost.
Butt was sore by the end so I was in no mood for a w/down.

Weight was a record high for the (presumably) very accurate scale in the fitness center.

Weights 8:00 [1]

2 sets of curls, tri ext and lat pull-downs

Hiking 15:00 [1] 2.6 km (5:46 / km)

Up to the start/finish and back. Lost track of how many people said I didn't look good coming back down, or asked me if I got injured on the course, etc. Starting to get good at the 5-10 second explanation.

Luke had just a little delay on C9 when he cut into the woods too early, distracted by advanced course competitors, but ended up getting the win when AJ mis-punched.
