Running resorvoir trail at the fells. First time running on trails at speed so super conservative. It will take a while before building back my confidence.

Also, they have rerouted the trail so I missed a turn at some point but was able to work my way back.

First time under 9 min/mile since my injury. Started slow but got to a pretty decent pace in the end, much closer to what I had before my injury.

I felt strong towards the end, with a great amount of pep in my legs. Today was a good day, with hopeful signs that I am making progress to getting back to normal speed.

It definitely helped that it was perfect running weather today. 60 degrees and cloudy with just a small breeze.

I got stomach problem 2/3 into the route. I had to stop and walk for more than half a mile to get it to calm down, before jogging back.
