Orienteering race (British champs ) 1:05:53 [4] *** 8.5 km (7:45 / km) +225m 6:51 / km

British champs wharncliffe and greno . Went off cautiously not Going to fast for the forst control . My cocentration Gone by number 2 and i lost about 3.5 mins in the sea of bushes . Carried on a bit annoyed to lose it so early on in the race . Aidan caught me up at 8 and i was with him to 12 where i took the wrong path . After that i found very little motivation and i found it very hard to run in all the unfergrowth i probally dropped about 5 mins because of this in the latter of the controls . Disapointed with my run to say the least but i need to learn from it for next season . 7th, winner = 55 somthing

Bok urban race 4 at henleaze another great course
started off at reasonable pace then slowed down a bit to ( take it easier ) otherwise i would have ben screaming at me not sure i took the best route to 3 and didnt notice the drinks station at 7 probally because i was just sooo concentrated :P at nine started to get into a reasonble pace again which i tried to keep with for the rest of the course . craney overtook me going to 10 and was gone by the time i punched 10. had trouble understanding the map around 13-14 and took the wrong path to 15 . apart from that an alright run and leg felt ok to :) and of course *benmaliphant* i know there is a national chamionships on saturday and i can promise i ran with that in mind

went for a slow run around blaise with the slower junior group . event though it was short it was pretty hilly knee got pretty sore :/

BOK district event at cannop ponds ( forest of dean )

messed up from the start at number 1 cut across the open and came to the right of the control and turned left to look for it until i could see the path then i realised and turned all the way back ( + 2 mins ) straight away after that came out right by number 2 and just wasnt able to see it behind a tree :( ( + 45 secs ) at this point i knew i wasnt going to have a good run so i decided to take it easy and just cruise round to not overdo it on my leg . messed up eight a bit because i could not understand the terrain as there were loads of unmarked ditches ( + 1 min ) messed up my exit to 10 as i took the wrong open section ( + 45 secs ) im not sure the map had any relevance to the terrain at 13 ( + 2 mins ) just not concentrating on 14 ( + 1.5 mins ) just walked up the hill at the end. leg didnt feel to bad :) duncan flew round in 41 mins!
