Very wet morning - waited until worst had passed but still a blustery wind and spots rain.
Next Ness, Alpine Road, Mansriggs, across to Old Hall farm and Dalton Gate.
Was trying to keep it reasonable but hrm tells a different story. Only a couple of mins down on beginning of June & July.
Lungs feeling better but left hip & glute very sore.

Coledale Horseshoe on a very windy overcast day. Braithwaite, Grizedale Pike, Coledale Hause all with wind in face. Difficult climbing in straight line.
Then turned to climb Crag Hill and along ridge to Sail, Scar Crags & Causey Pike.
Retraced my steps and descended to Outerside and along to Barrow. Drop off into Braithwaite - missed the main path initially and much splashing along a stream to correct.

From Mosedale - 4 mile walk along the valley bottom towards Skiddaw House. Climbed Great Calva to start, then across to The Knott & along ridge to Coomb Height. Then north past Lingy mtn hut to High Pike & along ridge to Carrock Fell.
Managed to lose the path on the last part of the descent so ended up coming down through steep rocky heather beside a stream - yuk.
Weather coolish with much cloud & few sunny intervals.

Steady loop to try out new shoes on warm humid day.
Down to Ropewalk, along to Sports Centre, up Oakwood Drive to Meeting House Lane & Big Dipper.
Sore back from digging gave slow first mile and then gradually felt body loosening up. Cruised up Croftlands and up Big Dipper without any great effort.

Worst planned course I have run this year.
M65L looked lovely - M60L was CRAP.
