Northern Champs in North East - drove over with Will, Adam & Angus. Ran hard but John Tulley put up a rediculous 54mins to prevent a championship standard time.
Bike to Arrad Foot, Penny Bridge, Bouth, Finsthwaite, The Swan, road to Field Broughton, Cartmel, Grange Fell & Grange. Stop at Windemere Road car park.

Out with Selwyn from Seathwaite, along Duddon main race route, up Harter Fell. Descend into Cockly Beck and climb to Seathwaite reservoir dam. Then down by main track. Lunch in Newfield Inn. Warm day - shorts again!
Out with UVHS D of E groups. Park near to Greenhurst, run back towards Cartmel butterfly wood & then back North following bridleways & footpaths. Warm sunny day.

Out with Graham Farley group at school. Going very slowly after earlier sessions.
Coniston loop - missed out OldHallLane on way out, then lake road, Brantwood, Coniston, Torver, Lowick & back. Very sore bum and right hamstrings. Felt very rusty - legs & shoulders ached. Sunny but cold.
Recovery run from Melksham to pack horse bridge, across river Avon and north to Broughton Gifford, then loop back west into Melksham through new development for Asda. Very slow shuffle.

Southern Champs - last starter. Very quick underfoot and really came unstuck on the long leg to #12, where I lost concentration half way along and then missed flag at end. 6mins slower than top people on 2.5km leg.
Run with Steve Buckley & Roger Smith from Gummers How car park. Up Gummers How, into Blakeholme, loop around and into fields behind SImpson Ground and back through woods. Efforting all of the hills - lovely sunny day.
