NOL final around the campus of UNSW. Such a good map and course, super intense and complex and I loved it! When I realised that I wouldn't really have time to plan ahead on any of the legs I just decided to instantly pick what I thought looked like the best way and then just go for it 100%. I think it worked out ok! Maybe one or two legs were I picked the wrong routes but it wasn't too bad. Happy to finish 2nd!

First leg of the NOL relay. Started out pretty good and thought I had an ok speed throughout the relay, so was a bit disappointed to be so far behind, but I guess the longer forking was even longer without the tunnel route choice. Anyway it was still a good start to the relays and exciting to watch the rest of the team run afterwards!

Newcastle park series at Hunter River High School. A really fun and tricky course set by Karen. Was struggling to read ahead because it was quite intense, which led to one "bigger" mistake (around 15 secs?) getting caught in a fence. Otherwise it was quite good! Didnt feel super energetic though, so hope a rest day and then an easy day will be ok before the weekend.
