Newcastle park series at Hunter River High School. A really fun and tricky course set by Karen. Was struggling to read ahead because it was quite intense, which led to one "bigger" mistake (around 15 secs?) getting caught in a fence. Otherwise it was quite good! Didnt feel super energetic though, so hope a rest day and then an easy day will be ok before the weekend.

Long run out to Walka. First hour on roads and last 30 mins on the tracks out there. Felt quite good and could go a tiny bit faster than I normally would for a long run. Last 15 mins were tough though, it started to get pretty hot and I was really thirsty.

Some orienteering training today. Body felt ok and course was really good but gosh, I officially cant concentrate when there are spiderwebs and big spiders between every tree. I think I gave 5% of my focus to my navigation which resulted in a pretty bad run.

Intervals at Walka. 4 sets of 3-2-1 all with 1 min rest except before the last set where I had two. Was a good session but quite hard! Happy I got through it with alright times.

Signed up for the gym at the uni, so went there for a strength session. It's been a while... It went quite well but gosh I'm sore today (the day after). Finished off with a 20 min swim.
